WINDOW STYLES

Tilt and Turn Windows

WASCO's new TILT & TURN windows are three windows in one -- the innovative European windows design offers draft-free ventilation in the tilt position, the traditional look and maximum ventilation of an inswing casement in the turn position, and a timeless look and security in the closed position. Tilt & Turn Windows offer unequaled structural performance, combined with the superior air infiltration and thermal performance of a casement window.

Milwaukee Replacement Windows

DOUBLE-HUNG replacement windows add beauty inside and out. Double-hung replacement windows consist of two sashes that slide up and down. WASCO's double-hung replacement windows tip out for easy cleaning, and offer well-engineered reinforcement for strength without heat loss, as well as security locks and sash locks for safe, natural ventilation. Replacement windows can be installed leaving the original jambs, header and sill, or as a complete tear-out. See Window Installation Methods for details.

WASCO CASEMENT windows are the finest casement windows on the market. These windows are hinged and open and close vertically with a crank, offering 100 percent airflow. These windows have superior air infiltration and thermal performance to double hung and slider windows. The casements to the left are on either side of a picture window.

AWNING CASEMENT windows are hinged along the top to swing out and up. They allow almost 100 percent airflow and can be left open during rainstorms without allowing water to enter the home.

PICTURE windows feature wide panes of glass, providing panoramic views and light-filled rooms. Because they don’t open, picture windows have virtually no air infiltration. The thermal performance equals or exceeds that of WASCO's casement and Tilt & Turn windows.

BAY windows offer classic styling to your home. They have three adjacent windows, offer a 180-degree view and make rooms appear larger. Side windows can be hinged to allow them to open and close for increased airflow. Bay windows may be built with either WASCO's casement or Tilt & Turn lines.

BOW windows are similar to bays, but feature four or five panes, which are gently curved rather than angled. Bows also expand rooms and increase viewing, and can be fitted with hinged casements to allow for airflow.

SLIDER windows are two sashes that slide over one another to open either side. They are durable windows with minimal framing for optimal views. An economical option for large openings, they cannot match the air infiltration or thermal performance of casement windows or Tilt & Turns.
